I know a lot of people don't like these guys or this album for that matter but I enjoy it . It's not a record to be taken seriously and that's the point . Great vocals decent to average instrument and great songs structures every song has a unique sound to them . I for one get a kick out of this record but to each his own .

I will give props to German electronicore band Eskimo Callboy: they're aware of how ridiculous the scene is and can more or less be a literal mockery of it. Unfortunately, their debut album Bury Me in Fucking Vegas is pretty dated and goes too far in beating whatever jokes there are into the ground. Sometimes I feel that it doesn't help that terrifying memories of Someday Came Suddenly begin crawling back up. Look, you guys might be a parody, but the actual comedic value is practically nowhere to be found. On the bright side, though, the record has an extra .5 over Attack Attack!'s freshman release; "Snow Covered Polaroids" and "Transilvanian Cunthunger" are passable songs. There's probably hope for Eskimo Callboy, but I kinda doubt it.

I'm not gonna tout these guys cause, let's face it, they aren't much. But I have to say, they do manage to make one or two fairly catchy hooks or songs. However, I wouldn't say they're amazing on any level. Just highly entertaining, and somewhat decent.

'Bury Me in Fucking Vegas' is very much like an instructional video on what bands shouldn't do. Pig squeals, auto-tune, simple breakdowns, useless synth and just general stupidity that plagues the music world anymore is all put to use here. Is it a joke? Or does this band actually think they're creating music? Not sure, but damn is it fun.

I don't know how to feel about this one. On one side, it's an awful album. But on the other side, Eskimo Callboy aren't taking themselves too serious, and they are just a parody of "risecore" bands like Abandon All Ships and Attack Attack!, so I can actually enjoy it. Hell, I would even dance to "Is Anyone Up?".
