Incredible album, flawlessly blends the accessibility of Nirvana and Tool with the dynamics and structure of Neurosis and Isis. Completely escapes the flaws and criticisms of the genre.

A solid post-rock/metal album with Tool-like song structures and vibes. The riffs are tasty but sometimes lax and stolen. The drums here would make this album stronger but he isn't as solid as Danny but he does a decent job. He's either holding back or just not expressing himself up to the potential that this album needs. Either way, it's enjoyable and worth checking out. Think more Lateralus meets Panopticon.

in a year during which heavyweights like Neurosis and Cult of Luna are due to drop records, it's nice to be reminded that some of the genre's most enjoyable stuff can come straight out of left field.
