Xiu xiu still sits somewhere between Prurient for people who cannot stand distortion, wannabee erotic audiobook for slug fetishists, and beyond dull 'I am not like most bands' quirkyelectrocore. I am still at best bored by Xiu xiu. I suppose this one is the best so far and has a couple nice-ish bit but meh 2.5

Throughout much of Fabulous Muscles, Xiu Xiu show the listeners this record's abstract point of view. With its odd electronica and punk sounds being thrown into a blender - alongside some rather artsy tendencies - what makes this such a delightful album is mastermind Jamie Stewart's lucid vocals, thereby making him more than capable to resonate with the advanced instrumentation the release just so happens to offer.

I Luv The Valley Oh! is a fucking good piece of a song, perhaps even their best song ever.rA good album, even though the "exprimental" touch of Xiu Xiu may sometimes be annoying and aggressive.
