Assassins Creed may not be comprised of catchy melodies like in AC2, but Jesper Kyd does an incredible job of emmiting a dark, mystic tone to perfectly fit the mid aged isreal/arabian culture. for example songs like "jeruselum" or "kingdom exploration" dont necessarilly capture your attention, but they have a certain ambiance that effectively add to the games evolving atmosphere. Not to forget the games chase seen soundtrack, while some would say slightly over the top, stands in my oppinion above any other in the franchise and matched by few games.
