The Eye is yet another great album by King Diamond that doesn't quite reach the same greatness as the 'classics.' With that said, it is a unique take in the old King Diamond formula as it is quite atmospheric.

Amazing album, but drum machine really sucks, sorry. It could be much better with Snowy behind the kit. The last classic King Diamond album is also the most neoclassical one. My favourite track is "Into The Convent" with breathtaking solo (one of the best ever) from Andy.

This may be my favorite KD album. The weaker pad-drum sound is the only negative, but the songwriting, vocal melodies and guitar work are better than they've ever been.

This is one of King's most underrated albums. It contains two live staples in Eye Of The Witch and Burn. Father Picard, Behind These Walls and Insanity are also catchy as hell, and Andy's solos.......damn those solos.
