I can't believe people are rating this CD so low. I think it is great! But then again my wife and daughter hate it. I thought it was the "missing link" between my wife's strictly country taste and my mainly rock n' roll taste, but she did not budge. My daughter said, " You can turn country into rock, but you can't turn rock into country" which is what this CD attempts to do. I still disagree, I guess you have to like Bluegrass and love Van Halen to really appreciate this conglomeration of the two. I love stuff like this anyway, like the AC/DC acoustic CD "Let There be Strum" and my "Stone Country" CD where country artists play Rolling Stones songs. These type of CDs work for me and I think my daughter is completely wrong about being able to turn country into rock as I can't imagine Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, or Hank Williams done in a country style!
