I feel an explanation is needed, to Justify my reasoning on 5'ing this not so amazing CD. Let it enfold you, alongside Alexisonfire's ST, are 2 of the first 'Screaming' type bands that I ever listened to, Being so, they were the gateways into what I now enjoy every day. So not everyone on earth will agree that senses fail is an amazing band, and they have a plethora of talent and skill (because they don't) but at least for one person, they got me so hooked on the genre that I never left. So that's gotta speak for somethin'

Absolutely LOVE this album. Although, Buddy's singing voice isn't top-notch; I feel... he does a great job harmonizing. However; Buddy's screams are solid and bring a very explosive sound. In closing, this album is very catchy and leaves you wanting to listen to it repeatedly.

Hard to be objective on this one when it was the first album I ever purchased as a budding teenager and listened to it like crazy on my old CD player. Reflecting on the album today, all the songs just bring a smile to my face b/c of my past affinity with it even though the lyrics are far from happy.

Senses Fail brings a whole lotta nothing spectacular or ground-breaking with Let It Enfold You, the band's debut full-length album; sometimes it doesn't even help with Buddy Nielsen's case, because the guy's singing voice could use more polish. However, the record at its core is still a passable effort and contains a few memorable tunes (i.e. "Lady in a Blue Dress," "Rum Is for Drinking, Not for Burning," and "Irony of Dying On Your Birthday")

Bumped to a 4.0 because i gave it another listen today, and still enjoyed most of it. Actually, just about all of it. Nothing spectacular, but definitely enjoyable.

One of my "guilty pleasure" albums; forced and borderline ridiculous at best, Senses Fail had something that could pass as a very solid album EXCEPT: Buddy can't sing. Sorry guys, but Senses Fail will always be bogged down by Buddy; I've seen them live 4 times and he's been shit, shittier, and shit shit every time.. dude can't hold a tune. They autotune the shit out of his voice and on album, its passable for the most part- until you see them live and find out its a scam. This is only my opinion (hell, could hundreds of teenage girls be wrong?); but I've had to leave their set every time- it breaks my heart.

i finally bought the cd after having it recommended to me on several accounts. this band is nothing out of the ordinary. good guitar, solid bass, and lots of screaming. usually this would be a too emo for my taste(considering i hate emo music), but i made the acception. the lyrics actually have a meaning, as so many other artists' dont. they werent just words thrown together in hopes to make sense and attract buyers who didnt know better. the album was good, but not great. a pretty average emo cd.
