| 4.0 excellent | Brabiz | October 31st 20 | Surprisingly I think the modern production benefits a majority of this reimagining. The heavier moments sound
STELLAR, even though the more anthemic tracks suffer as a result (not that I’m even a huge fan of those cuts in
the first place). But I have to say, this and the original album have just enough of a heavy metal edge to make
them stand above their contemporaries, a majority of this is more in line with something Dio would’ve done with
Black Sabbath. Mostly thanks to the excellent vocal performance and the occasionally doom-y guitars. It’s a very
good album, and this version is just as good.
