An adequate collaboration if not for the fact that I cannot tell what Matt Sweeney's contribution was, as the whole record sounds simply like a strong, well-crafter Prince Billy album. Put it on his roster, remove Sweeney's name, and you wouldn't be able to tell it does not belong, not least because Sweeney's vocals are so similar to Billy's.
