It's no surprise that Dionaea are approaching perfection, but what IS a shock is how under-the-radar the band still is. Change this, Sputnik.

Wow, this really came out of nowhere for me. Ohh and never mind the odd mix of genre tags
and however contrived you might think it sounds and just listen to this, it's a great
fucking time. 4.2

This album is quite good but the two genres just do not blend that well. Dionaea is definitely a very unique band and is full of excellent musicians, but Post-Rock and Grind do not fit together that well, or at least how they put the two together. The Post-Rock feel on the album felt very natural and was quit good, but when the Grind feel came in, it seemed out of place a lot. Still, very interesting band and album.

A really unique post-rock band blending elements of grind and hardcore spastically throughout. Vocals a bit out of place, but the musicianship of all three members blends together epically. Can only imagine how much better this band can get.
