A true masterpiece. After the slightly disjointed Hattöss being a transition album between Thrash and Prog, Voivod nail down a truly unique sound which has not been replicated till this day. Piggy?s weird ethereal dissonant riffing and Snake?s spoken vocals are probably the two main factors in this albums weirdness. Not to mention Away?s crazy drumming and Blacky?s funky bass. Combined with very accesible melodies and perfectly clear production we have a masterpiece on our hands.

This is one hell of a kick ass album with so much virtuosity and vividness. Missing Sequences, Into My Hypercube and Sub-Effect are the tracks I loved the most.
