After the very cringeworthy Jugulator, Priest come out with yet another another weak album. Again ruined by industrial effects, though to a lesser extent, this album is less cringy. However, it is incredibly generic and samey, lasts for an eternity, and except a few moments even staler than Jugulator. Bump

Turbo was the bottom of the barrel for Halford era JP, but Demolition is the bottom of the barrel for JP period. Jugulator sported enough solid tunes to overcome its plentiful flaws, but Demolition is a disaster. "Machine Man" is a promising start for the album with unoriginal but solid riffing, a headbangable pace, decent solos, and Tim's signature aggressive vocals, but the lyrics are just as stupid as before. "One on One" is pretty decent too with good vocals and solos, but the momentum stops there. "Hell is Home" tries to be memorable but is riddled with groove metal cliches, and "Jekyll And Hyde" wants to be atmospheric and aggressive but fails. The rest of the material is half-assed at best. The closest to a failed abortion JP ever created.

Like Jugulator, not truly putrid to my ears, but nonetheless quite forgettable. Did they have to throw nu metal and industrial stuff into the mix? Did they have to make all the songs drag for so long? Subterfuge might be the worst Priest song ever made. I sense bits of potential in this, but they're drowned out by mediocrity. Time for me to put on some Stained Class to wash out my ears. Bump

Musically this record is very eclectic, spanning numerous sub genres all within the confines of one album, I feel this backfired however because most of the songs on here are total garbage. "Machine Man" is the only song I can honestly say I enjoyed hearing. Bump
