4.5 superb | A7XEric | November 30th 11 | Still have yet to actually pay attention to the lyrics and find out the story they dreamed up, but musically it's incredibly solid. It comes across much more serious than most of these "epic fantasy" concept albums most power metal bands put out. Awesome stuff and great guest vocals as well.

3.0 good | pencils3 | November 29th 11 | This is enjoyable but not particularly remarkable. It is certainly better than bare average, but there is nothing to mark it out as special. On the downside, the incessant spoken dialogue about elves and fantasy lands is a bit annoying. Good, but it has been done before - and more effectively.

1.5 very poor | Chamora | July 3rd 20 | Unabated cheese, even relative to its peers. It's never catchy. The vocal lines feel like exposition rather than singing. I guess it's power metal sometimes, but it's mostly opera. It's just some terrible off-off-broadway musical that I want nothing to do with.
