This was the first Cult album i heard. It is very heavy and melodic and a very grungy sound to it. Excellent guitar work. I have listened to other Cult albums after this but none of the album comes close to the heaviness of this album. This album is pretty average, generic stadium hard rock, apart from the lead single, Rise, there is very little to get excited about here.
