this album has no right being as good as it is... seriously, this could possibly be the best thing he's ever released outside of tool.

While interesting at times the album never takes off, and while Maynard has no issues making slower tracks work for him in his other projects here it just comes off as underwhelming. This leads the album to drag on, as the soundscape keeps to a theme and never really evolves past the first few tracks sound. Puscifer are still a hit or miss band, and for me this was a miss.
