I was conceived by my parents on the Balance tour after the band played in Polaris Amphitheatre. Too bad this album is maligned, but maybe this album is an analogy for how uneven my life has been so far? The best singles released during the Hager era, but definitely the worst deep cuts of the Hager era. It reminds me of how Eddie had to undergo oral surgery to remove a part of his tongue because the last three songs on this album are the audio equivalent of just that. But, if you own an original on LP (like my father) keep it or sell it for $120 (how much an original goes for typically).

In my opinion this is the best of the Hagar Era. The spark of the Roth Era is somewhat revived here, and musicianship is in quite good form.
