I've heard all eight tracks by now; though not in order, I can satisfactorily rate it. This might be the best CD of the year.

Once again with Haken, pr0g leaning on symphonic. This time the vocals aren't as cheesy as on their debut, but musically it's kind of the same: epic riffz, epic drums and epic synths with some chug-chug parts. I understand the appeal, but doesn't make me pp ahrd. Anyway, way less bloated than their first album.

Good, but way too derivative of their influences. This album screams DT, especially Metropolis Pt. 2. T/t is fantastic, but overall as we find out the band has so much more to give, especially in the field of finding their own sound. Love their concepts though.

Visions viscerally impacts harder and ascends in stature compared to Haken's predecessor debut release, Aquarius. However yet again, the band presents a fully fleshed out, intelligent concept album examining one's fear of inevitable mortality along with associated subconscious premonitions and consequential avoidance behavior. The album titled track serves as a stunning drawn out closing act, drawing upon all the technical and evocative superior details of progressive rock when instrumentally performed passionately.

Amazing record that moves fluidly through ideas that never seem to overstay their welcome, played by musicians who never overplay their parts, and sung overtop of by a vocalist who knows how to write a hook! From start to finish this is a classic.
