This album is just good, not great, not bad, just good. When I listen to the album, I can enjoy it quite a bit without skipping anything. But, except for a couple tracks, I haven't ever cared to listen to them on their own.

After 10 years of waiting, Bush is finally back with a new record. While nothing will probably be able to replicate the success or admiration that Sixteen Stone brought, Bush still manages to make a pretty good album here. Good lyrics and vocals by Gavin as always that are followed by guitars that are pretty catchy at times (opening of "All My Life") but just seem average at other times. "The Sound of Winter" being the first single, is probably one of the best tracks if not the best on the album. The Sea of Memories is not a bad album at all and is definitely worth a listen to.

Seemingly finding a way to replicate their past sound, Bush returns with Sea of Memories, an album that, upon first listen is somewhat entertaining. At first, nostelgia seemed to set in and this record seemed to offer more than it actually was; unfortunately, multiple plays are not a big friend of Sea of Memories, exposing weaknesses or filler tracks along the way. This record isn't a total loss though, with a few good tracks kicking around and will no doubt still be able to please the average Bush fan still hanging around.

I was surprised by this, I actually really like it. 'Heart of the matter' is bush through and through. This is not quite as good as 'Sixteen stone', however it is not their worst effort at all.

Bob Rock please stop producing albuns....it's just another band you're helping to ruin. 311, Metallica, Tonic...aaarrrr...stop just stop!

Pretty much middle of the road. Not innovative or different per se, but it is different and innovative enough for Gavin and Company that it's not a total wash. Main issue is Bob Rock's sterilized production.

Even with some songs too out of place, Bush knows how to appeal old and new fans with a more
radio-friendly sound while keeping some traces reminiscent of their previous albums.
