3.0 good | LifeAsAChipmunk | June 10th 12 | Try not to pay attention the awful band name - Squid the Whale is a very good post-hardcore
band. The vocals are incredibly smooth, soulful and stylistic - definitely reminiscent of
Johnny Craig. While the voice is the clear highlight of the album, the instruments are
definitely competent effective in maintaining the setting of the songs and conjuring
surprisingly catchy beats, but you won't find yourself any surprise intense riffs. New war.
is a satisfying listen to pop punk and post hardcore fans alike.

5.0 classic | Homunculusninja | December 19th 11 | A fantastic collection of four songs, each is catchy, and powered by the immensely strong vocals of the frontmen. Each features memorable parts, but its his vocals that truly carry the album.
