Not content to rely on their past successes, Redemption boldly experiments with new ideas to create a truly inspirational recording. From hard-hitting riffs that depict a scene of someone about to break for the last time to lyrics relating a realization that hope still exists, stunning technical musicianship combines with an unmatched sense of melody to take listeners through an unyielding journey along the coil of mortality.

at first i thought it was too recycled like snowfall but its definitely been growing on me a
lot. I like the tone of rays voice.
You know i really like the covers but...WHY on earth did they feel the need to change the
lyrics to the Tori Amos song??

Very underrated, it takes a few listens to appreciate that album and it starts to run together near the end but still a powerful album that displays the strengths of prog metal and why fans love it. Redemption adds another solid album to their belt.

the production on this album is subpar, hate to compare it to snowfall, but it is not as grand or as melodic as snowfall is, this one if definitely darker and more technical though, and while the lyrics on snowfall isn't anything to write home about, but the lyrics on this album is pretty bad. I know this album is about the main songwriter's battle with cancer and there is nothing grand or melodic about it but still.
