Despite the tacky, cartoony album art, this is a super solid metalcore release. Clean vocals are excellent, harsh vocals are great as well, and the bass guitar isn't overshadowed like it is in a lot of music in the genre. The guitar and drums are fairly standard, but the guitars aren't just chugging as per most metalcore.

With infectious and powerful clean vocals and hard hitting riffs, Ready, Set, Fall! put forward an effort that doesn't bring anything new to the table, but is carried out well and plays hard on its strengths.

There is one powerful song on EP (Skyscrapers) and that`s all. Volpi`s clean voice is his main advantage, though he does not use it properly in some songs (Buried Alive; Sincerely, Mine). Music have shiny moments (and lyrics as well), but there are too many harsh vocals... this make me feel like I listen doom/gothic/death metal. I`ve expecting to hear something cardinally differ from this work, so may be RSF left best songs for full-length album (The Temple Is Me, Labyrinth, Roll The Dice).

Solid release for an up and coming band. A little better than your typical genericore bull although his "singing" can get annoying and tiresome.
