The Truth Is... this band is completely awful.

Taking away the majority of the humorous lyricism and decent guitar work that made their last album an enjoyable experience, Theory of a Deadman's latest release fails to impress by relying on cliches, simple song structures to creature catchy tunes, and falls flat on its back as a result.

Theory doesn't break musical barriers by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoy their angsty songwriting and think they are a fun band to jam along to. They're a good party band and are a nice change of pace from many mainstream rock bands.

I'm extremely ashamed to admit that I used to somewhat enjoy this band. Thankfully, my musical taste evolved a bit and I learned that this band, as well as this album, is trash. The music itself is extremely uninteresting, and the lyrics are stupid, generic, and sometimes blatantly sexist. "Lowlife" is a song that I used to actually enjoy. But one day it just sort of hit me that this is not a good song. It just doesn't make much sense to me. The song basically puts a positive spin on being a total deadbeat. Then there are songs like "Bitch Came Back" and "Gentlemen" which are outright sexist. Throw in some cheesy ballads, and it's hard to imagine this album being much worse. If you haven't heard it, stay away from it.
