deadmau5 at his most experimental and creatively unrestrained but not without most of the faults you'd expect from a collection of early works. For better or for worse, ideas come and go at a pace that doesn't really allow them to leave much of an impression. In other words they don't have enough time to develop or progress as songs, which combined with the lack of album cohesion makes the whole thing feel rather undercooked and disjointed. Regardless it's quite different from the house stylings that propelled him to stardom, drawing heavily from IDM, Drum and Bass and some Boards of Canada worshipping ambient/downtempo. As an overall experience though, Get Scraped is by far the superior release of his back catalogue and most likely his discography in general.
