I am not the type of person to give this low of a rating to an album (albums that people often give a 1 or 2
to I usually give them a 4 or even 5). For example, The Last Kiss, Relapse & Back on My B.S. aren't bad in my
opinion. But this was a terrible attempt by one of the most respected MCs of all time. Before he even
dropped his first album people couldn't get enough of him. But after Death Row fell apart Snoop joined No
Limit... and this album just shows how much of a disaster it was. It has No Limit guest appearances all over,
including Master P, who tends to yell aimlessly and call it rapping. Overall if you are a big Snoop fan (like
me) you might want to check it out, although you won't be going back to listen again anytime soon.

This album is underrated in my opinion. The context of its creation is very important. Snoop was in a stranglehold by Death Row and Suge, and Master P offered him a way out. No Limit was more than a better record deal for Snoop. It offered him safety and creative freedom. This and No Limit Top Dogg definitely fall into the No Limit pitfalls of having too many tracks and repetitive Master P features, but nonetheless I think they are very important to Rap history
