If I wanted to actually critically analyze this, I'd call it unoriginal, predictable, and perhaps even lugubrious. But sometimes, music should just do what you expect it to and be gorgeous.

Incredible post-rock, kind of reminded me of Yndi Halda for the quiet/grandiloquent dynamic. It feels good to hear post-rock like that in the 2010s, as the genre dissolved itself in other styles (the most prominent example being bm) but did not truly evolve on its own. This, is true post-rock.

This is simply amazing. Usually post rock/post metal can get pretty boring with too many bands within said genres who do nothing to differentiate themselves from one another. However, this album stands out. Soaring, epic, crushing, and emotional are just some of the words to best describe what you feel when you listen to this. By the time the album closes, you will really feel like you traveled to the plains of the purple buffaloes, witnessed it in all it's glory, and then returned.
