Six years before Yellowcard released breakthrough album 'Ocean Avenue', a very different sounding band recorded their debut LP 'Midget Tossing'. As can be gathered by the immature album title, the then novice sextet were very young. Furthermore, future vocalist Ryan Key had yet to join the band, with Ben Dobson's raspier vocals matching the punk sound exhibited here. While there are moments where you can make out the musicianship potential under the amateur production, 'Midget Tossing' is ultimately a rather poor punk release with the intriguing idea of throwing in occasional violin parts. Recommended Tracks: Sue & Me First.

yeah this is pretty bad. lots of energy but no direction, randomy yelping instead of singing, sound like the beatles on one of their drug binges if they grew up with punk. also this whole album concept ofc is wtf

I can't give this a one because it's Yellowcard but boy oh boy did they have a rough start. Since
it isn't on any streaming or digital platforms the only reason you would ever want to spin this is
to see where Yellowcard started.
