Although I've enjoyed Skindred's music for a long, long time, I can safely say I didn't expect Union Black to sound this spectacular. They're not doing anything too different from their previous works on here besides the added drum & bass influences and occasional electronics, but damn have they improved in general songwriting or what? This album is a blast and is easily the funnest record I've heard all year. If you can't enjoy the hell out of this album, you don't know how to appreciate fun metal. Fuck yeah, now I shall go to a club, any kind of club, pump this record, and spread the good vibes.

... Wow, of all combinations of music, none will perhaps surprise me more than the combination of (nu-)metal and reggae. This is perhaps one of the most unique genre blends of the 00's decade! This album has managed to simultaneously resound as one of better records of the nu-metal genre and sound off as one of the most unique acts this decade. Now wondering about the prior decade's ragga metal act: Insolence.

One of the best albums of 2011, and probably the best album from Skindred. Warning is fantastic, Cut Dem is brilliant, Living a Lie is so catchy it's untrue and Death to all Spies is very good. The whole album works very well.
