4.5 superb | Brandon Scott EMERITUS | April 20th 11 | I must say my first experience with slowcore has been a pleasant one thanks to Bluetile Lounge; Lowercase easily deserves its title as a quintessential album for the genre. Slow, minimalistic compositions that still manage to carry a whopping amount of emotion, Lowercase is a phenomenal album that is recommended to anyone.

5.0 classic | fatalgerm | May 2nd 13 | Being somewhat of a veteran to Slowcore, I find Bluetile Lounge to make the most beautiful music out of the genre's stalwarts, namely Codeine and Low. Everything is quiet, still, yet reaching spacey crescendos mid-song, without veering into harsh distortion. Lowercase is truly a classic within the genre, a dreamy trip through space.rRecommended for anyone who likes Codeine and Galaxie 500.
