Their heaviest songs all packaged together. This is no mere compilation, but this can rather be seen as Coloring Book's complement: one is their funky side, the other represent their heavy endeavours. Stars is the weakest track here, but the rest slams hard.

Not one song on here dips below 'fucking amazing' quality. John Lennon might be the heaviest song ever and Jesus Glue drops your jaw with the crazy Cuban/African rhythms and awesome Middle Eastern leads and I HOPE THE HEADS OF YOUR CHILDREN ARE USED FOR THE PLEASURE OF PAGAN GODS

The expectations for Daryl Palumbo and company's first signs of life in years were high, and as always the expectations were exceeded, but this time they weren't shattered. I was amazed at the opening scream on "...John Lennon", and this is one of the best songs they have ever put to tape. "Natural Born Farmer" is another new favorite. Of course the other songs are beyond good, but it is pretty easy to tell that all of the songs on "Our Color Green" were recorded at different times and some were even pieced together, albeit just right. I wish it was longer and had more of it's own identity, but the 5 tracks here are absolutely essential for your Glassjaw collection.

Glassjaw was always "cool" in my books, but they weren't as legendary as everyone on Sputnik was claiming them to be, in my opinion. It wasn't until I heard the absolute insanity of this EP in which I was finally engrossed within their sound.
