It's funny because even though this is produced by Klayton (the man behind Celldweller), Blue Stahli is better than anything he's put out since Celldweller's debut album. Yes, Blue Stahli is literally a clone of that smooth, polished industrial rock sound that Celldweller helped bring up, but there are times when he really does sound like Maynard James Keenan which add a bit of freshness to the overall sound.

Rough, edgy and raw, Blue Stahli's debut album has the raw grit but still brandishes slick production values. Various musical elements are juxtaposed with intricate technicality, superb variety, eerie vocals and strong and unique songwriting. The atmosphere created by this record is staggering.

Blue Stahli is similar to Celldweller is many ways. He has made a slightly new sounds while sounding similar, he's intense and exiting, and his first album seems to dwarf his newer one in over all quality.
