On his first true solo record, J cuts down on the fuzz and goes all acoustic for the most part. His vocals generally stay the same as Dino, but the acoustic, folky feel is very comforting and heartwarming. The compositions are just as emotive as anything Dino ever did, and the lyrics seem to be a bit more personal, as to be expected on a solo effort. Despite some of the songs sounding the same (it's an acoustic record, get over it), this is a very solid piece of work from the guitar lord. Same overall feeling as Dino, different approach though.
