nergal suddenly becomes obsessed with chuck and latter-era death (this in memory ov him?) and fuses that with generic editions ov their new blackdeath sound to create the worst behemoth album, tho it gets better by the end, the best part ov this album being the birth ov ov!!

BRUTAL! Behemoth release their most skullcrushing effort yet, and also their best. Every track seems like you?ll be seeing no tomorrow, and not only is it incredibly brutal, but instrumentally and rhythmically solid!

Behemoth's next releases are definitely more consistent however this album remains a very good effort. "Horns ov Baphomet", "Modern Iconoclasts", "No Sympathy for Fools" or "Heru Ra Ha: Let There Be Might" are all great tracks.

On Behemoth's Zos Kia Cultus, It has some pretty damn good introduction tracks for death and black metal standards. It does do well in giving you that feeling that your entering the gates of hell which is pretty cool. The interlude tracks here such as "Hekau 718" are alright. The screaming and the other use of instruments is decent enough to keep you listening.

It has the strength of a death metal album. But the guitars are the weakest part of the album (for me at least, but it does have its stand outs, just very few though) which correlates into being unrememberable.
