Dissapointing followup to the great debut. The songs feel like they want to sound interesting but they fail because of lackluster songwriting and over the top production. Some songs though, like 'The Power & the Glory' I like quite much.

You almost have to ask yourself if you're listening The Killers at times, or hell, even an old Tears For Fears album. The vocals are much more expressive this time around plus there is an upbeat synth-heavy vibe in nearly every song.
