One of the better modern screamo bands that mix their emotive, volatile screamo with melancholy post-rock passages, Suis La Lune is a band always rife with evocative moments. This is true even of their first demo, on which the raw vocals and drums collide with somber, impassioned guitars to create a very good post-rock/screamo hybrid. This is best exemplified on the first two tracks, especially "Dance Red River, Dance!", where the vocals are truly heartbreaking no matter if juxtaposed with cleaner, melodic guitar moments or more dissonant, charged sections. The lyrics here aren't anything to write home about, but they certainly get the job done, especially for a group of guys that speak Swedish as their first language. In all, it's an extremely solid, foreshadowing genesis for Suis La Lune.
