| 4.5 superb | Snuron | August 19th 10 | Oddly enough, this CD is the one I imagine with an OC I have drawn...Lara Volker or another female
cartoon character I like. But some songs are nice to feel myself alone...such as Number 1, Satin
chic, Ride a white horse and Time out of world. But Let it take you...is a pretty beautiful song,
I'd say. When I used to listen with my mp3 device, I started to touch myself in my bed. xP But,
after all, this CD is a pretty great electronic to imagine with a beautiful woman.

| 4.0 excellent | zane1234s | August 13th 08 | Three simple words: I love it. Opener "Ooh La La" features a glam-rock stomp to it with a catchy hook, "Ride A White Horse" provides soaring electro impulses inspired by the disco-era, and "Number 1" deserves to reach number one, considering it's the best pop tune Goldfrapp will ever do. The duo is more sexual than ever, with tracks like "Slide In" and lyrics like "switch me on." They provide us with the best ballad since "Black Cherry," which was only an album ago, with "Time Out From The World." Almost every track here is great, including the bonus "Beautiful," which is a great treat, but you can't help feel guilty about it after listening to such great ear candy.

| 3.0 good | jeremologyy | February 13th 08 | I don't think it's a coincidence that my favorite song is "Let It Take You," seeing as it's the most like old Goldfrapp. Sure, "Ooh La La" is fun, and "Satin Chic" is quaint and cute. However, I am a Felt Mountain boy. That shall stay as it is.
Seventh Tree comes out in two weeks, and I am looking forward to that. Finally: a much-needed change.

| 4.0 excellent | Goldfrapp_Theremin | June 21st 06 | We heard Goldfrapp's transformation from Chamber Pop to Electropop, but Goldfrapp has changed their sound even more on this album. The opening track, "Ooh La La", sports glam rock influences and this is Goldfrapp's first album featuring electric guitars. This album sounds poprockish, one of its weaknesses. This album would be greatly improved if it they arranged the playlist better. Putting the weakest tracks in the middle of the album really gives me the urge to use the skip button. "Lovely 2 C U" shouldn't be the second track. Overall, I still think this album is worthy of an album of the year award, even though I agree that this is my least favorite album.
