I have to be honest, I barely listen to pop-music these days. But from now and then when you're listening to the radio for a change, you sometimes stumble upon a very catchy song, wich you end up 'googling' at the end of the day. I remember sitting in the car and listening to 'Stepping Stone' wich is a song of her first album. I was in love immediatly. While not so original, she has a really characteristic voice and reminds me of the 60's wich you barely hear these days. I gave the album 'Rockferry' a couple of listens the last few weeks and i must say, i really got into her sound. Recently I decided to download 'Endlessly' hoping to hear more great tracks from this fresh artist, fooled i was. As much of hope I had for Duffy it was immediatly destroyed when listening to this one. It just lacks depth and soul which the first album definately had. It reminds me of a typical sell-out where an artist decides to abuse her fame for making as much money as possible, totally dropping her genuine style that made her known. I am really dissapointed in Duffy and the evil music industry thats behind these artists these days. They turn a gem into a gum-ball machine in the hopes of selling as much as copies as possible. Be true to yourself.
