I haven't had a chance to listen to the first Disclaimer but Disclaimer II is a pretty good record by Seether.
It definitely is mainstream because of its post-grunge and alternative metal styles but throughout the record there is a Nirvana feel. Shaun's singing and the guitars which are tuned lower, evoke that dormant Nirvana fan within. Though having a mainstream sound, there is that thought and creativity in them that draws a fine line between Nickelback and Seether which is really all one could ask for.

the best song here was the subpar track from the Daredevil soundtrack, this is just a formulaic Korn knockoff.

It was a great album, everything abotu the first, the new mixes enhanced the songs and the rewrite of older ones and the addition of new ones....all around great...but they didn't need to put Broken on there TWICE! that's my only beef with it

Oh god I'm broken. Broken when it comes to this album. Honestly, this dude is just a terrible songwriter. The band itself has constructed a high 2-low 2.5 album, being generic but not terrible. But the voalist is absolutely dreadful and boring, and writes some of the most faux-touching and psuedo-emotional lyrics I've seen since Styx. But Styx was awesome. Seether is just a rock band that really should have never of made it big.
