Definitely the first release by these guys that I could really get in to. I'll excuse the first disc since it was just a bunch of Metallica covers, but even the second didn't seem that well executed, despite offering up some new influences and some original material. But here, the band's first foray into an all original material studio recording, Apocalyptica finds their most interesting and enthralling music come to fruition.

Listening to their music is a different experience unlike listening to other bands. Music from other bands are shallow unlike theirs
Anyway the songs that seems to catch my attention are Hope, Path and Romance.

Who imagined that the Metallica cello cover band could have released such a nice record? The two bonus tracks with vocals however stand out the best. Good stuff.

Cult constitutes Apocalyptica's first effort in composing their own material, leaving aside (not totally) the covers formula, which brought them to the radar of the metal community. They begin to establish their stile which strives between melodic and emotional pieces and aggressive cello riffage. The album succeeds mainly because of the effort put into creating an original sound with an instrument often associated to other genres, not metal.
