Overly poppy, redundant and lacking in any great songs, 'Sidewalks' is Matt & Kim taking a step back rather than forward.

Matt and Kim create one of the most immediately enjoyable and catchiest of the year... imagine the fun-ness of that one song that was cool as a cucumber on their last one and add some quality and multiply it to fit and album and give it some cutesy quirkiness and you have Sidewalks, or something.
