Dark, moody and very bluesy (as is expected of The Doors), Strange Days proves to be a worthy follow up to The Doors, proving to be even more consistent than its predecessor.

This is one of the greatest albums ever made. I would rate EVERY SINGLE song on the album as 5/5. I worship this album. You just can't go wrong with it. It's so dark and deep that it is almost (to me) a social commentary.

ITs really good and what the fuck is happening on Horse Lattitude. Not has good as the album The Doors, but still a decent album that is short and sweet and whitout any filler. Its good to the begginning until the end. 4/5

Sex, strangeness, isolation, despair and the end of times thematically link on Strange Days, the sophomore offering from The Doors. Robby Krieger pens another hit single, "Love Me Two Times" and Jim Morrison delivers the closing epic, "When The Music's Over" in stunning fashion. Ray Manzarek and John Densmore are brilliant maintaining the backbone rhythm, allowing Morrison to dramatically shine behind the microphone.

Psychadelia beautifully captured and released by the most underrated musicians of the 60's. Also Jim does in fact have the best voice I've ever heard.

The Doors' second full-length is very comparable to the first: intense, dark, and all-out cultish, from the wonderful references to Morrison's supposed shaman blood, "Lizard King", and other instances where the booze and acid may have been a bit too much to handle. Morrison's softer vocals have taken a much stronger improvement from the band's debut, but on all other accounts the music is slightly less memorable. However, with the debut being one of the best records of the 60's, falling slightly short of that great achievement still results in a very fantastic and remarkable psychedelic milestone.

An often powerfully under-appreciated offering from The Doors, Strange Days is no less consistent and magical than its sibling records. This has probably some of the most experimental moments for Doors' music, as well as possessing some memorable fan favourites in People are Strange, Love Me Two Times, and the epic When the Music's Over. Though often skipped in favour of other outings, this album will become the avid Doors' listeners best friend over time.
