There's a reason Satch is the top-selling instrumental artist, and that reason is that he can write great music which evolves around the song itself and memorable melodies.

Damn fine album, seriously close to a 4.5 for me. I appreciate the more bluesy feel and emotion in the songs, and it's a nice change from Satriani's usual shredding (not to say that I don't love that too). Wicked album, check it out if you're a fan

The first song is probably one of the best Joe Satriani has ever made. This guy still
manages to tell us a beautiful story with his guitar. Most songs are calm and amazing, but i
think it should have had some heavier moments, that would have made this perfect.
