There is a quite big contrast between the two halves of this album: personally I found the first half quite boring, meanwhile I greatly enjoyed the second half - more variety, especially in tempo and simply better riffs. However, Hat's vocals were solid all the way through.

Interesting black metal riffs, and some of the only real osbm I enjoy production-wise for some reason. The vocals aren't my thing, but the songwriting makes up for them.

I cannot see how this album is rated so highly; uninteresting riffs, drumming, and vocals, and it is a short album.

Overall for a black metal album, this is not that amazing, there were only two songs that were interesting and kept my attention, which were "Rituals" and "(Under) The Pagan Megalith." The rest of the album was boring or ok. Also the vocals got annoying to listen to after a while.

A friend gave me this album. I've got to say, hilarious. This whole scene in general takes itself way too seriously. The lyrics are pure cheese. I don't think I'll be checking out any more of this stuff. As an atheist I find this equal to any "best of" christian music.
