I almost rated this a 5 because I really like the way everything comes together and the lyrics are *heaps* better than his earlier solo stuff. However, after many, many repeated listens, I feel there just isn't enough guitar solos to warrant a 5. Steve has proven throughout his career that *he* is in fact the 'best of the best', no matter how much he won't admit it - I just wished this album contained more of the notes that makes his playing SO good. Oh and Tumescent is definitely bad ass.
