It seems like people were expecting too much from Belle And Sebastian this time around. No it isn't as good as their previous two albums, but that doesn't negate the fact that some of 2010's best songs are scattered throughout Write About Love. The low points are considerably lower than previous releases, but a lot of Write About Love's material stands up to and at times contests some of the Glasgow band's finest songs. This isn't something that should be overlooked and dismissed.
