5.0 classic | Alex Newton | September 22nd 10 | Live albums (and DVD's) just don't get any better than this. Frontman Akerfeldt is spot-on and the rest of the band do their thing perfectly in performing their classic album Blackwater Park, and on one of the world's greatest stages. A must-have for any fan who can tolerate seriously good music.

4.0 excellent | StormChaser | October 22nd 10 | How can some retard give this a 2? Like seriously. This is one of their best setup for live performances. It's a masterpiece. This CANNOT get a 2.

0.0 | BoBzeBuilder | September 22nd 10 | This is the best Live DVD by Opeth. Axe has gotten much better at playing Lopez's songs, Akesson is great, and Mikael hit all the right notes. Also great selection of songs make this a perfect gift for the average Justin Bieber fans, so they can have a heart attack.

4.0 excellent | GamamJ | May 31st 20 | Amazing. Onne of the greatest live recordings of all time. Opeth first play through their flawless Blackwater Park in its entirety, then play a song off each of their other albums up until the then newest Watershed. Just ridicolously good. Only problems are obviously the length, Mikael's growls sounding worn towards the end, and the constant cuts in the video recording. Other than that a brilliant record.

3.5 great | rationalgazelle | September 7th 14 | The growls are just...not there. :/ But the musicianship is as solid as always, and the version of Hope Leaves on here surpasses the one on Damnation by miles.

4.5 superb | Handyman003 | August 10th 12 | No band has ever done a balls-out birthday bash better than the five-piece Swedish "Kings of Metal" Opeth. This extravagant film, taking place at London's celebrated Royal Albert Hall, has a two-set layout not seen since the exquisite "Lamentations". The first set consists of "Blackwater Park" done in its entirety, while the second contains songs from their back catalog that just happen to include "Advent", "Forest of October", "April Ethereal", and the list goes on! Each song here is performed so brilliantly and optimistically, it's hard not to imagine why these guys are a force to be reckoned with. The mixing is so much better than the "Roundhouse Tapes", the musicianship is unparalleled, and the grand spectacle is overwhelming. Not to mention, some copies are paired with CD versions of the set, so you're basically getting the full package. Mikael Akerfeldt is officially an iconic figure in the world of hard rock and heavy metal.

4.0 excellent | Exera | June 18th 11 | This is an amazing live show, however it strikes me how it can be rated higher then the roundhouse tapes, the roundhouse tapes is by far the best of the 2 shows, thats just me though.

0.0 | the original metal understander EMERITUS | January 3rd 11 | Why an Opeth live album has a 4.7 i'll never understand.rThe guitars sound like shit and make their wanking even worse.

0.0 | 1drummer | December 29th 10 | Cant be as good as Lamentations, they were at their prime then. Now it's like 2 grease monkeys were hired to pretend to be the musicians that Lindgren and Lopez were. Ever since they left, it's just not the same.

0.0 | McCopper | December 8th 10 | The camera work is not the best.rFlawless performance from the band but I think the atmosphere is cheesy.rLast but not least, the guitar tone sucks here. It's raw.Not MYAH raw. It's raw like fucking pantera.rI'd pick the roundhouse tapes over this any day.r(Not to mention Lindgren being the coolest person on stage.Ever.Akesson is good but Lindgren is god.)

3.0 good | lifter | November 28th 10 | I'm as big as an Opeth fan as the next guy, especially of Blackwater Park, but there are some serious flaws with the production choices on the DVDs. For one, the editing--a new camera angle every 3.4 seconds, no focus on the guitar solos. For two, the fluorescent tape on the back of Mendez's basses is an eyesore. Lastly, and most damningly, I find the guitars much too raspy, too thin, and too tilted towards highs and mids.

4.0 excellent | MO | October 12th 10 | Wow! What a perfect way to celebrate 20 years of a marvellous career. Playing at an amazing venue, in top form, performing some of their best songs. It's nice to see them pay hommage to the album which brought them into superstardom and bust out some of their classics (my personal favorite Opeth song "April Ethereal" as well as "The Moor" and "Advent". Great live performance from the best band walking this earth today.

5.0 classic | rafoulsky | September 25th 10 | With such a great selection of songs, the rating could only be 5. Songs from Blackwater Park that I didn't like that much really got me on this one (5 and 6). It is just amazing how good it sounds live, without any need of overdubs or other editing. Mikael's clean vocals are brilliant, and so are the little speeches he gives. Old songs sound great (specially Advent, one of my favourites). They also deal really well with the technical difficulties, and the crowd is far better than in the last DVD. So many reasons why this is great. A word to summarize all that greatness: Opeth.
