This is an underrated album. "Nothing But Flowers", "Totally Nude", "Cool Water", "Ruby Dear", and "Blind" rank among their best songs. The only truly bad song on the album in the overwhelmingly awful "Facts of Life". With that aside, this is one of my favorite Talking Heads Albums.

Very polarising soundoffs on this one... I'm leaning towards positive, might be a 3.7/3.8? There are some IMMENSE tunes on this one, Nothing but Flowers and Cool Water both stand toe to toe with almost any other Heads track. They've lost some of the vital energy they had on their debut and sophomore albums but the connections can still definitely be heard in Totally Nude and others. Great album, not their best but it stands weirdly close to Talking Heads in their prime

its no mystery why not many people listen to this instead of remain in light.
