Simply amazing, the album flow gave me skin bumps, the sound was so deep that it put my mind into a state of trance I can say. The beginning of the album with the track "And the Forest Began to Sing..." puts the listener in a comfortable chair and invites the listener for a journey beyond our world, somewhere far away, into a world of distorted memories, pleasant wavescape and dreams. The synths of "The Drug" moved me to the 5th dimension, made my brain literally "wobble", the guitar in "The Alcoholic" made me cry and feel like a small child watching the rain behind a window in a small village house, "Tricky Two" feels like a journey underwater, where you never know what will come on your way to a deeper level, "Forsaken Cowboy" and "Senior Living" gave me a hint of a elder life, in my 25s I was feeling my bones were very heavy and I was worrying nothing - I felt like I've left all my life behind and my brain was full of memories of my past life. "Coming Home" makes me fall asleep 70% of the times I'm listening to this pure virgin sound, the second part of the track is like a lullaby. And the last, but not the least - "A Long, Long Way" is just a returning punch into reality, with it's first part, but wait, the second part throws us back into a dark forest, full of ghosts, some crazy people, flying horses and mystery. Just when you thought it's over, nah - it's starts all over again. You just can't press the stop button, and you start to listen the album from the beginning. As an old fan of Royksopp, all I can say that my second all-time favorite album after Melody A.M. is Senior. I recommend this masterpiece to everyone who like to experiment non-human feelings, fly to distant worlds, experience good quality music and then get back to earth.
