The band that cracked Billboard charts with first metal record - highly successful album Metal Health (1983) and almost hated to record cover of Slade's song Cum On Feel the Noize, which ultimately turned out to be one of the band's best song and thus paved the way and style for other hair/pop metal acts of mid 80's. The compilation gathers the most important songs and some live tracks the band had done, thus personally it falls short on properly introducing the band.
First five songs are somewhat staples of early hair metal days, then it contains some album tracks from later albums, the band did in 80's. Nevertheless, I would suggest to buy the Metal Health album and if more interest is shown, then other compilations the band has.
personal song picks - cum on feel the noize / bang your head (metal health) / slick black cadillac / the wild & the young
