Andrew Bird's sophomore effort is an odd collision between alternative rock and what could be described as.... 40s ballroom music? Coupling brilliantly strange lyrics with big-band/orchestraic music only accentuates the oddity that is 'Thrills'. Andrew's off-key vocals and pretty violin playing are also bonuses.
