Lets pretend minus the herd never happened. The craziness and technicality from the guitars, which was lacking in the previous album, make a glorious return. Now that despised icon are gone, Ion Dissonance are the number one Canadian heavyweights

still following the groove happy direction of minus the herd but more interesting note choices and rhythms used this time round.

Ion Dissonance returns to their roots a little bit, except this time with Kevin as their vocalist. "You People Are Messed Up" and "They'll Never Know" are really heavy tracks that do not seem bogged down by the frenzied, chaotic mess that Ion is known for. The production is a bit of a step down from Minus The Herd, but otherwise this is about a 4 from me, for very different reasons from the 4 I gave Minus The Herd.

So brute! Like a combo between Solace and Minus...which is a good thing. Glad they have stepped up and are sticking around unlike their neighbors- Despised Icon.

I haven't had time to fully digest this, but it awesome so far except for a few cheesy tough guy lyrics here and there. This sounds like the follow up to Solace, more than the last one did
